Dayang Beach Resort is located in Talicud Island, Samal. It is about 1 hour of boat travel from the Sta. Ana Wharf in Davao City.We had our lunch in this place during our Talicud Island tour last December 2008. Dayang Beach Resort's pristine white sands, clear blue waters and fresh ocean breeze more than made up for its lack of modern facilities and amenities.
Here are some specifics of the resort which i copied from this blog:
* No entrance fee for Dayang Customer
* Cooking services at 30 pesos per kilo
* Water for 15 pesos per container
* Table for 100 pesos
* Small and big tent 50 and 100 pesos respectively
* 4 units of room for 450 pesos
* Close cottages with bedding can accommodate 5 persons at 350 pesos
* Open cottages with 5 persons accommodation is 250 pesos

Wow! Are you kidding me? These prices are so affordable. And the beach looks so soothingly warm and beautiful.
