Bohol Beach Club-A perfect beach haven in the Island of Panglao

Bohol Beach Club is located in Bo. Bolod, Panglao Island, Bohol. It is one of the "high end" beach resorts in the island of Panglao.

About five years ago, I was with my co-workers when we visited this place. We did not stay overnight because the room rates are way, way beyond our budget. I recently checked Bohol Beach Club rates in their website and this is their current room rates:
Standard Accommodations:
      Single Occupancy -$77.00+
      Twin/Double Occupancy-$82.00+

Superior Gardenside Accommodations:
      Single Occupancy-$90.00+
      Twin/Double Occupancy-$100.00+

Superior Poolside Accommodations:
      Single Occupancy-$110.00+
      Twin/Double Occupancy-$115.00+

Superior Beachfront Accommodations:
      Single Occupancy-$130.00+
      Twin/Double Occupancy-$135.00+

Executive Suite Accommodations: $200.00+

Premiere Suite Accommodations: $250.00+

Family Suite Accommodations: $385.00+

As you can see the rates are in dollars because majority of their clients are foreigners.

Since we definitely could not afford their room rates we availed of the Bohol Beach Club day tour which was Php 300/head during that time (5 years ago). Php 250.00 was consumable so we used it to pay for our sumptuos lunch.

Bohol Beach Club's vast expanse of fine, powdery white sands sprawl several meters off the shallow shores, making it a perfect destination for beach bums. Because they cater mostly to high end guests, the place is quiet and not overcrowded. Except for our group, there were hardly any large groups of guests in the resort.

Bohol Beach Club has a Game Room equipped with billiard table, table tennis,  mahjong table and an air conditioned karaoke room that can be rented at an affordable rate.  All table games are free of charge for in-house guests. The resort also boasts of three (3) swimming pools that are properly situated within the resorts Amihan and Habagat Wing. For business meetings and special ocassions, Bohol Beach Club has four (4) indoor function rooms including the largest pillar-less ballroom in the island of Panglao, the Bohol Pavilion, that can cater to various corporate and business meetings as well as convention requirements.
Bohol Beach Club has a picture-perfect beach to lounge around and relax.

We spent practically the whole day in the resort. We had so much fun swimming in the beach and in the pool. We also rented a glass bottom boat which took us to a dive site teeming with corals and rich marine life.

If you want to visit Bohol Beach Club and avail of their promos and package tours, check out the resort's official website here.

  1. the best coastline area is fronting bolod beach resort. dumaluan and bbc has rocky coastlines but at bolod and beaches before that, has a more finer and rock-free area.

  2. bohol beach club is definitely one of the best tourist attractions in bohol. The quality of this beach even surpasses boracay! My friends and I will go back to this resort summer of 2011.
