Beach Hopping in Mati, Davao Oriental (Part 3): Cinco Masao Beach Resort

The last stop of our beach hopping in Mati, Davao Oriental was the Cinco Masao Beach Resort. It is located in Barangay Tamisan, Sitio Masao, Mati Davao OrientalCinco Masao is adjacent to the Gregorio Beach Resort which was featured in my previous post.

Cinco Masao Beach Resort, owned by Mr. Vic Cinco, started its operation in 2001. Today, it is the most popular among the beaches located in the Masao beach strip since it is well-developed and has more facilities. Cinco Masao has 20 cottages, 4 airconditioned rooms, 10 lodging rooms, a function hall and a restaurant. There are also motorized pump boats which can be hired for island hopping to Waniban Island, Pujada Island and the vanishing Oak Island.

This giant statue of a mermaid greets you at the entrance of Cinco Masao Beach Resort:

A few steps away from the statue is the resort's restaurant:

This cliff offers a great view of Cinco Masao's floating cottages and the clear and tranquil waters:
