In Flight: Cagayan de Oro City to Cebu and Back

These photos were taken during our Cagayan de Oro City-Cebu-Cagayan de Oro City travel last November 20-21, 2010. We were on board the Air Philippines plane during these two flights. Since this is my first time to ride an airplane after 4 years, I made sure that I am seated beside the window so I could take some shots of the world below. From the Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro City, it took only 30-40 minutes before we arrive at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Despite the short travel time, I was able to take some interesting photos from up above.

Lumbia Airport, also known as Cagayan de Oro Airport is a major domestic airport, which, according to wikipedia, is the second busiest airport in Mindanao after Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City.

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport is a major international airport in the Visayas region and is considered as the second primary gateway of the Philippines.

I think this small island is already a part of Bohol.

  7. Nice shots. Is it allowed to take picture inside the airplane? I thought not. Anyway, you capture a very good view especially the CDO river.

  10. The scenic view from the windows of an air flight, surely bring delight to anyone traveling to Cagayan de Oro. More so if you could live at a house for sale in CDO city to fully experience the gift of beauty CDO has in store.
