Cebu Night Shots: Fuente Osmeña Circle

Cebu City, October 8, 2011--After an early dinner at the Ayala Mall and two cans of San Mig Light (our own version carbo loading) at the IT Park in Lahug, my friends Jong and Haru took me back to NS Royal Pension where I will be staying for the night. At the pension house, I found out that my roommates still haven't arrived so I walked to the Robinsons Mall to buy some staff.

It was only past 7 PM but the shops in Robinsons are already closed and only the fastfood chains are still open.

Closing time for this Island Souvenir shop in Robinsons.

I decided to just take some photos at the Fuente Osmeña Circle. It was a week before the Sinulog so the mood in the area was very festive. I noticed some people taking photos of this display which is fronting Robinsons.

I walked across the street to take a closer look. It is the Sinulog display of St. Cecilia College of Minglanilla:

Live bands also entertained people at the Fuente Osmeña Circle:

After taking these photos, I walked back to the pension house. I have to sleep early to prepare myself for the next day's Cebu Marathon.

(Since I left my camera at the pension house, I settled for my old Nokia cellphone in taking these photos.)
