Where to Eat & Stay In Malaybalay, Bukidnon: Quadra-D' Stable Eco Resort

If you're in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon and you fancy dining in a ranch-like setting, then visit Quadra-D' Stable Eco Resort. Quadra (as it is popularly called), is located in Sta. Cruz Street, Sumpong, Malaybalay City. It has an open air setting with huts, cottages, tables and chairs built on a grassy lawn. Aside from serving great food, it also offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and mountains of Malaybalay.

Last Sunday, I treated my parents, my wife and kids to a lunch in Quadra. These are the food we ordered:

 Kinilaw na Malasuge (P200.00)

 Lechon Kawali (150.00)

Sinigang Shrimps (P200.00)

Chicken Finger (P150.00)

Quadra also has cottages for overnight accommodation. Rate is P1,500 for a cottage good for five persons. The cottages are only fan-cooled, but with Malaybalay's cool weather, an airconditioned room is not really a necessity.

How To Get There:
Quadra is adjacent to Shepherd's Meadow Memorial Garden. From Malaybalay City downtown, take a multicab going to Brngy. Sumpong and tell the driver to drop you at the corner of Sta. Cruz Street (landmark is Sumpong Catholic Chapel). At the junction, there are are several trikes (commonly called "sikad") waiting for passengers. Take a trike ride straight to Quadra.

  1. OMG! I stayed for a year in Sta Cruz St way back 2003 or 2004. About 5 minutes walk from the highway. I'm sure it's quite different now from how I remember it. :)
I'm so excited to go back as my routine then was school and home, never got a chance to visit places. I've only been to the kaamulan grounds once during the Kaamulan festival. The pine trees reminded me of home.
