Bohol Family Vacation at Twin Tides Panglao

Twin Tides Panglao is a new boutique hotel located along Main Road, Lower Tawala, Panglao, Bohol. They had their soft opening last February 28, 2016 and their grand launching was last March 28, 2016. We recently stayed here during our family vacation in Bohol and here's our experience with Twin Tides Panglao...

Despite being a new hotel, our driver did not have a hard time locating it. Twin Tides Panglao is along the main road and is only a few hundred meters away from the commercial center of Barangay Lower Tawala. It is also a few minutes walk to the famous Alona White Beach, restaurants, bars and convenience stores.

Since it is not directly along the beach where the rows of restaurants and bars are located, Twin Tides Panglao maintains a quiet ambiance away from the noisy crowd.

The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Upon arriving and confirming my name on the reservation list, checking in was hassle-free.

The waiting area has a nice combination of monochrome and bright blue colors.

The hallway leading to our room. We were booked in Room A103 at the ground floor. It is a Double Executive Room with a regular rate of Php3,998.00.

Our room has two semi-double beds which fit me, my wife and our two kids just right. The duvet cover beds are so comfortable and gave us restful sleep during our 2-night stay.

Right in front of our beds are the 43" LED TV with local and international channels, hair dryer, electric kettle and complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water.

The room also has a personal refrigerator, safety deposit box, clothes hanger and plenty of spaces for our bags and other belongings. Free WiFi is fast and reliable even inside our room.

The bathroom is clean but quite small. It has two hot and cold shower heads and the toilet seat is equipped with bidet spray. Towels and basic toiletries are also provided.

The sink is located outside the bathroom and is separated from the sleeping area by wooden dividers.

Dining area is easily accessible from our room. Free breakfast is served from 6 AM to 10 AM.

Twin Tides Panglao serves both Filipino and International breakfast fares. During our 2-day stay, we had Scrambled Egg with toast, butter and jam, Tapsilog (beef tapa, egg and fried rice), Omelette with toast, butter and jam, Tocilog (pork tocino, egg and fried rice) and Danggitsilog (danggit dried fish. egg and fried rice). Meals are served with your choice of juice or coffee. Except for the danggit which are a bit chewy, we love all the breakfast specials of Twin Tides.

As usual, my kids came looking for a swimming pool but Twin Tides don't have one yet. According to a staff, a 20-meter pool along with additional amenities will soon be constructed. Even without a pool, my kids still enjoyed our stay since Alona Beach is just a few minutes of walk away.

Overall, my family had a wonderful stay at Twin Tides Panglao. We love the hotel's modern design, comfortable beds, fast WiFi connection, free breakfast and the friendly and accommodating staff. We also love its location, which is only a few minutes of walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and convenience stores yet far enough from the noise and the crowd.
