SIPA chansavang is a partial load 教授 in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHASS) . Since 2008, Sipa has taught in several departments and faculties including FAHCS, Academic Upgrading, and SWAC. Courses that Sipa has taught include Human Biology (BIOL14108), Introduction to Body Systems and Disease States (BIOL10724), Structure and Function of the Human Body (BIOL19207), Advanced Body Systems and Disease States (BIOL25441), Introductory Chemistry I & II (CHEM17370 & CHEM29402), Nutrition For Well Being (NUTR19207G), Introduction to Natural Science (SCIE12932), Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology (SCIE22273) and Agony and Ecstasy- Addictions (SCIE10386G).
Prior to working at Sheridan, Sipa obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) and Honours Bachelor of Science (H.B.Sc.) with a major in Genetics. He is a registered member with the Ontario College of Teachers and is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). Sipa has worked as a 教授 teaching medical students at the University of Medicine in Aruba where he taught courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Psychiatry, and Epidemiology. He has also worked as a 研究 & Development Lab Analyst and Reference Standard Coordinator at Genpharm Inc. where he developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various lab protocols. During his medical training, Sipa acquired hands-on clinical experience with managing a variety of patient diagnoses. He also assisted surgeons in procedures such as appendectomy and caesarean section. With his background in science, education and medicine, Sipa brings forth numerous experience into the educational setting. He has taught a broad range of students including adult learners, special needs and gifted students, as well as students from various faculties including Early Childhood Education, Pharmacy Technician, Personal Support Worker, and Fitness Leadership. As a professor, Sipa's main goal is to motivate students to think independently and creatively. Sipa also strives to broaden students' learning through sharing real life case scenarios and incorporating relevant topics into his lectures. Furthermore, Sipa believes in the importance of integrating technology in the classroom, and in empowering students to analyze and solve problems using various methods and strategies.
